Build with techniques and materials from the Middle Ages.
You can visit and see how these beautiful, historical structures were created.
There are also varius
activities you can take part in to really immerse you in 13th century
life.

Guédelon : living history
Day after day,
Builders are using all the raw materials used in the past to build a castle
now. The construction is being undertaken right in the centre of natural surroundings.
Started in 1997, this project should be completed around 2022.

In a "medieval atmosphere",
you will get to know the work of some 50 artisans and you
will see (stonemasons, carriers, bricklayers, loggers, carpenters, potters,
ropers, etc...) them demonstrate
traditional Middle Age techniques and garb.
